Japanese Black Ink Painting Beginners Online Program

Treat yourself or a friend with the unique gift of a live online Half-Day Introduction to Japanese Black Ink Painting Workshop. Participants will be introduced to the Art of Black Ink Painting and will learn about materials, basic brushstrokes and techniques used for painting grasses, flowers, trees and mountains. Sumi-e is the Japanese word for the Art of Black Ink Painting. It is a unique art form using only black ink, handmade paper and a special brush.

Suitable for Beginners or as a review/refresher for those who have previously attended.

This Workshop consists of four 40-minute segments with a 5-minute break between each segment.
