The enrolment window for new Members to join our Japanese Black Ink Painting for Beginners Online Program will be opening soon! Please have a look at the details below to see the features included in this Membership. 

Learn brushstrokes and techniques for painting grasses, flowers, trees, mountains and landscapes in this online blended learning program for beginners. Japanese Black Ink Painting (Sumi-e) is a unique art form using only black ink, handmade paper and a special brush. It is a calming and relaxing activity.

This program includes the following:
LIVE GROUP LEARNING ONLINE SESSIONS including guidance and feedback to improve personal progress.
ACCESS TO PRE-RECORDED INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS that you can watch in your own time.
POP-UP ONLINE CAFÉS where Members can meet up for tea and a chat.
REVIEW/REFRESHER WORKSHOPS Half-Day Online Workshops that also review Introductory material.
PRIVATE MEMBERS’ ART COMMUNITY where Members can meet, relax, learn, share, grow, make friends, keep in touch, and have fun.
QUIET ONLINE GROUP PRACTISE SESSIONS with a chat break half-way through.
RELAXING ‘CHALLENGES’ including Meditation, Painting Practise, 'Forest Bathing' and more.

There are many different ways to engage with this program, and each subscriber can decide on their own way to engage with the learning to suit their own needs, level of experience and availability.

You can choose between a monthly or yearly membership (with the yearly membership, you will receive 12 months for the price of 10).
